As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Pay Rate: $16.22 / Hour
Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of educational facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and reporting unusual activity or policy violations.
- Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
