As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to travelers, employees, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Valid Driver's License ( 1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas in accordance with established procedures, verifying authorization and reporting unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with airport personnel and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
