Security Officer - Overnight Shift

As a Security Officer - Overnight Shift in Dalton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, respond to alarms or access control activity, and document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, issue visitor instructions, and maintain visitor and vehicle logs as required by site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and use site systems such as radios, phones, and/or access control tools to support daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
