Security Officer - Museum Patrol

As a Security Officer - Museum Patrol in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required by the site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document incidents, observations, and interactions according to site procedures and Allied Universal standards.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
