Job Skills / Requirements
Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting for a security gig! IPSC is hiring an unarmed parking lot patrol officer in the Covington area.
You will be an integral part of a hard-working team. This position will assist with security operations and management.
Shift: 3p - 11p
This position pays from $15 per hour, paid weekly
Must be 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. An MVR is required.
Must have a personal vehicle. Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours.
Past security guard, law enforcement, and or/military experience is required.
In addition, candidates must meet the following requirements: Must have a clean criminal background Must be able to pass a drug screen Must have reliable transportation and have an active phone number
Physical and Mental Job Requirements:
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
- A Security Officer-Supervisor must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
- A Security Officer-Supervisor must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
- A Security Officer-Supervisor must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
- A Security Officer-Supervisor must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
- A Security Officer-Supervisormust be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
- A Security Officer-Supervisor must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
- A Security Officer-Supervisor must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
