As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Field Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a transportation-focused government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transportation facilities and surrounding property.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate emergency responders and transportation personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, parking areas, platforms, administrative areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
