As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $20.40 - $21.40 / Hour
Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate campus contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
