As a Security Officer Customer Care Patrols in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, patients, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols appropriate to a retail and public-facing location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, assist with crowd management and directional guidance, and complete required reports with accuracy and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
