As a Security Officer Customer Care Patrol Unit in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor access points and community amenities, helping to support property rules, visitor protocols, and after-hours access procedures in accordance with site expectations.
• Assist with reporting maintenance-related issues, lighting concerns, unsecured doors, and/or other property conditions observed during patrols that may impact residents or the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
