As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Assist in implementing security-related procedures and protocols tailored to the chemical and petrochemical environment, remaining attentive to potential hazards and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response plans.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Provide customer service by answering inquiries, offering directions, and addressing concerns while maintaining a professional Allied Universal presence at all times.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to help to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
