As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Access Control in El Dorado, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal team member in an access control role at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a people-first, innovative environment.

What You'll Do:
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the chemical and petrochemical facility.
- Verify the credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors as they enter and/or exit the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the site and along the perimeter to observe for unusual or suspicious activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific policies and procedures.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities encountered during patrols or access control duties.
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by delivering assistance and responding to inquiries related to security-related procedures.
- Support emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
