As a Security Officer - Patrol with Tablet in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at an educational campus location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, support access control, and assist staff, students, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, use site technology as needed, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and documentation per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorization and directing individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
