Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Must be 21 years of age
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
