As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and respond to incidents with integrity and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and response actions to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
