Security Officer Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in El Campo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role offers the opportunity to support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out site-specific procedures, assigned post orders, and appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee traffic, access points, and high-activity areas, helping to address policy-related issues, suspicious behavior, and/or potential loss prevention concerns.
• Support incident response by communicating with local management, law enforcement, and/or emergency services when needed, while maintaining professionalism and following Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
