What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissioned Security Officer position at Lonestar Patrol?
We are seeking a Commissioned Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.
Shifts Available:
- Sunday thru Thursday 8:00 pm to 4:00 am - 8 hour shifts
- Friday and Saturday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm - 12 hour shifts
- Friday and Saturday 8:00 pm to 8:00 am - 12 hour shifts
Pay:
- Pay will be determined by past experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and are secure
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
βQualifications:
- 3 Year Previous experience in security required
- State of Texas Security License Required
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Proper Security equipment required
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
