You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Perform armed patrol duties, carrying required equipment in accordance with licensing and training, and maintain readiness to respond to security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or local public services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Complete security-related reports and activity logs, document observations, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper Spray Certification preferred.
• Handcuffing Certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
