Responsibilities:
- Patrol the gas station premises on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect signs of criminal activity, including theft, vandalism, and trespassing
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond promptly to any security breaches or suspicious behavior
- Engage with customers and employees in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a vigilant presence to deter potential threats
- Respond quickly and decisively to emergencies, such as robberies, medical incidents, or fires, following established protocols and procedures
- Enforce company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations, to maintain a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of security incidents, patrols, and activities in daily logs or reports
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency responders as needed to address security concerns or incidents
- Provide assistance and support to employees during cash drops, deliveries, or other high-risk activities, ensuring their safety and security
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge related to security and safety procedures
- Must possess a valid BSIS issued exposed firearms permit and Guard Card
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and provide copy of driving record
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related field preferred
- Completion of firearms training and proficiency testing required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities
- Duty belt, Level 3 duty holster, level 3A body armor, Baton permit, OC spray permit, taser
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures
