As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Monitoring in Brownsville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, parking lots, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns and documenting incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with store management, employees, shoppers, and responding law enforcement or emergency services personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
