As a Security Officer Access Control in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic media and technology location. You will help manage visitor entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Maintain a visible presence, respond to security-related concerns, and help create a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, talent, vendors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor documentation in accordance with established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and access-related logs; issue and collect access credentials as authorized.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
