As a Security Officer Access Control in Thibodaux, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor entry points, manage badge and access control activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while supporting daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach built on teamwork and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization for site access, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support emergency response activities by helping with restricted access, traffic direction, and incident documentation while following site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
