As a Security Officer Credential Control in Arabi, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. This role combines strong customer service, communication, and computer use with security-related awareness. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, process visitor check-in activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through appropriate site procedures.
• Support screening and inspection processes for personnel, deliveries, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of operational activity, access points, and areas that may require additional attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Must possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
