Security Guard - Retail Driving Patrol

As a Security Guard - Retail Driving Patrol in Pueblo, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols at a retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing excellent customer service. This is a driving post, so you will spend much of your shift patrolling the premises by vehicle, remaining visible and approachable to support guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist customers, visitors, and employees with directions or general inquiries as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders if necessary, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
