What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public-service agencies as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials as directed, maintain visitor and patrol logs, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
- Assist with maintaining orderly access to public-facing government locations while providing clear directions and professional communication to diverse visitors.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
