As a Senior UX Designer you will lead the design and enhancement of user experiences across complex digital platforms. Your role is pivotal in translating user needs and business goals into intuitive, accessible, and engaging interfaces that drive customer satisfaction and product success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers to ensure design solutions are feasible and aligned with strategic objectives. By leveraging user research, data analytics, and design best practices, you will continuously iterate and refine user journeys to optimize usability and accessibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing to create user-centered designs.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to define product requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Analyze user feedback and behavioral data to identify pain points and opportunities for improving the user experience.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices within the team.
- Conduct usability testing, incorporate necessary analytics and feedback into product improvements.
Education / Training:
Bachelor’s degree, Graphic Design or similar
Experience, Skills & Abilities:
- 5 years of professional experience in UX design, preferably within the professional, scientific, or technical services sector.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design principles and complex project work.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (e.g. routing, switching, monitoring, and orchestration).
- Experience working with agile teams within product and engineering units.
- Experience designing AI assisted network operations.
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
