ASAP is hiring on behalf of our client for a Jr. Facility Assessor to support facility condition assessments and onsite data collection efforts in the Alexandria, VA area.

About the Role:
This position is ideal for early-career professionals who have worked in onsite assessment, surveying, building surveying, or facility/property condition evaluations. The selected candidate will support field assessments, collect building data, and contribute to the development of formal condition reports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite facility and property condition assessments across various building types.
- Collect accurate field data including measurements, photos, equipment details, and overall building system observations.
- Assist with documenting deficiencies, system conditions, lifecycle expectations, and recommended corrective actions.
- Support field surveys, building walkthroughs, and asset inventory tasks.
- Prepare structured field notes to support formal assessment reports.
- Coordinate travel and site visit logistics as needed.
- Maintain well-organized data, photos, and documentation throughout each project.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant experience including one or more of the following:
- Onsite assessment or surveying work
- Experience as a building surveyor
- Performing facility or property condition assessments
- Strong written communication skills — assessment writing sample required for all interviewed candidates.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments with regular local travel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard documentation tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured assessment processes.
- Must be local to the Alexandria, VA area (daily commuting distance required).
