Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Task Project Manager to support projects in Waynesboro, GA. This position will be responsible for overseeing assigned projects and individual project tasks, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with established project plans and regulatory requirements.
The Task Project Manager will coordinate resources, track project progress, address issues and risks, and work closely with engineering, construction, operations, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Previous nuclear power experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned projects and project tasks from planning through execution and completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
- Track project progress and ensure work remains aligned with established schedules and objectives.
- Coordinate personnel, contractors, materials, and other resources required for successful project execution.
- Work with engineering, construction, operations, and other project teams to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
- Identify project risks, constraints, and potential schedule impacts and assist with developing corrective actions.
- Ensure assigned work complies with applicable safety requirements, project procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Support project meetings and communicate schedule, scope, resource, and execution concerns.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained throughout execution and closeout.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 6–10 years of experience managing projects or project tasks within the energy sector.
- Experience coordinating multiple project activities, resources, schedules, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and maintain project schedules in a regulated environment.
- Nuclear power experience preferred.
- PMP certification recommended.
