What are the responsibilities and job description for the SHOP ASSOCIATE position at Allied Signs?

This position is in our plastics, letter, and assembly department. You will be working with the team lead assembling signs for install, from basic channel letters to pole signs, monument signs, etc., preferably with cross training to assist other departments as needed.
The following is a list of responsibilities and skills for this position:
- Read and understand work order and designs/drawings (Required)
- Follow instructions given for the work to be performed daily
- Be flexible in working where needed - graphics, channel letters, trim cap, packing, etc
- Trim capping channel letters
- Add LED lights to electrical signs
- Handle final assembly of signs
- Gather required hardware for install of signs, making sure all required components of the sign are complete, compiled, and quality checked before loading for install
- Fill out necessary paperwork per job completed
- Keep work orders clean and safe at all times
- Report daily to team lead
- Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate in English (Required)
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, stand for several hours, and work well with others (Required)
- Must be able to take direction from a supervisor
- Possess an excellent work ethic and be willing to work overtime if necessary
- Should be in good physical and mental health to handle the demands of the position
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Valid Utah Driver's License (Required)
