Position Summary
Schmidt Roofing is seeking an experienced Roofing Sales Manager to lead and scale our residential and commercial sales operations across multiple locations. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role focused on driving revenue, improving close rates, and developing high-performing sales teams through active coaching and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and coach Sales Representatives across multiple office locations
- Actively train sales reps in the field including door knocking, canvassing, objection handling, and closing
- Implement and enforce consistent sales processes, KPIs, and accountability systems
- Conduct ride-alongs, performance reviews, and weekly sales meetings
- Drive self-generated lead initiatives and manage company-provided leads
- Forecast revenue and develop regional growth strategies
- Oversee the full sales cycle from inspection through signed contract
- Approve pricing exceptions and ensure profitable, competitive estimates
- Coordinate closely with operations to ensure smooth handoff from sales to production
- Resolve escalated customer issues and protect the Schmidt Roofing brand
Qualifications
- Must have 5 years of residential roofing sales management experience
- 1 year of commercial roofing sales experience preferred
- Must have Proven success leading multi-location or regional sales teams
- Experience in roofing, siding, or home services industries
- Strong background in commission-based, door-to-door sales environments
- Demonstrated ability to build, train, and coach high-performance sales teams
- Comfortable performing roof inspections and using ladders
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required due to company vehicle use
Compensation & Benefits

- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus, paid as follows:
- $2,500 after 3 months
- $2,500 after 6 months
