Client: Leading Energy & Utilities Organization
Location: Newark, DE (Hybrid – ~2 weeks per month onsite)
Our client is seeking an SAP Finance Architect with extensive S/4HANA FICO experience and a deep understanding of the Utilities industry. This role leads end-to-end design and implementation of SAP Finance solutions, ensuring seamless integration with key financial systems such as PowerPlan, BlackLine, and Utilities International.
Key Highlights:
- Lead SAP Finance architecture and integration initiatives across multiple edge systems.
- Configure and optimize FICO modules (GL, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, COPA).
- Support FERC accounting, allocations, and regulatory reporting.
- Partner with business and IT leaders to drive transformation and process improvements.
- Guide teams through WRICEF development and post-go-live stabilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting.
- 10 years of SAP Finance (FICO) experience with 3 full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong Utilities domain expertise (FERC, FP&A, IS-U, Central Finance).
- Certifications preferred: S/4HANA, PMP, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, ITIL.
- Must reside in one of the following states: DE, MD, PA, NC, NJ, VA, TX, FL, IL, or OH.
