Coordinator

Our client in Allentown, PA is seeking an Coordinator to join their team on a hybrid schedule. This role is responsible for performing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities while providing administrative accounting support. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Match and validate invoices against purchase orders and process payment requests.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment exceptions with internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and process electronic payments.
• Respond to and resolve internal and external invoice and payment inquiries.
• Verify vendor and customer accounts through monthly statement reconciliations.
• Provide support and guidance on accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist with administrative accounting tasks, including scanning, filing, mail processing, copying, and document management.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist the team during high-volume periods and backlog situations.
• Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable researching and resolving invoice and payment issues through final resolution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing business needs.
