What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Drafter position at Allied Power Group?
- Modelling of gas turbine and other components using Solidworks.
- Creation of 2d drawings in Solidworks, compliant with ASME Y14.
- The candidate is expected to continue formal training and achieve Solidworks Professional certification during employment with APG.

WORK QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Proficiency with Solidworks 2d and 3d.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and processes an advantage.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- High School graduate with minimum 3.0 GPA
- Solidworks Associate Certification or Completion of Lone Star College Solidworks program DFTGC 2107300.
- ASME Y14 Certification an advantage.
