Accounting Manager

Located in Topeka, KS, this hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely three days per week while still collaborating closely with leadership and key stakeholders onsite two days per week. Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of financial professionals responsible for budgeting, forecasting, fiscal reporting, and financial operations
• Manage large-scale budgets and financial activities while monitoring expenditures, forecasting funding needs, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Partner with leadership teams to provide financial analysis, operational recommendations, and support for strategic decision-making
• Coordinate cross-functional financial activities, prepare executive-level reporting, and support legislative and program-related financial initiatives
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Finance, Business, or a related field
• 4 years of experience managing complex budgets, financial forecasting, financial analysis, or fiscal operations
• Prior leadership or team management experience, including mentoring, coaching, or supervising professional staff
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities

Salary: $75,000 - 85,000
