Role Description

This full-time, on-site Occupational Health Nurse role is based in Lebanon, IN. Multiple shifts are available. The Occupational Health Nurse will provide direct clinical care for work-related injuries and illnesses, including assessment, triage, treatment under standing orders, and coordination with physicians. Responsibilities include conducting employee health evaluations, administering vaccinations and screenings, performing routine follow-up visits, and supporting case management to facilitate safe, timely return to work. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, assisting with regulatory and compliance documentation, and communicating clearly with employers about employee status and recommended work restrictions. The nurse will participate in workplace health promotion activities, reinforce safety practices, and provide education and training to employees and supervisors on injury prevention and wellness.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Occupational Health Nursing and Nursing skills, with experience in clinical assessment and treatment of workplace injuries.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Occupational Health and Medicine, including work-related injury management, regulatory requirements, and return-to-work best practices.
• Candidates should possess skills in Training and education, with the ability to deliver clear guidance on safety, injury prevention, and employee health programs.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana required; COHN or other occupational health certification preferred but not required

• Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or industrial/employee health settings is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, employers, and employees.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
