Role Description


This is a full-time, on-site Medical Assistant role based in Lebanon, IN. The Medical Assistant will support providers in delivering occupational healthcare by preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, and assisting with clinical procedures and treatments. Daily responsibilities include welcoming patients, obtaining medical histories, documenting visits accurately, and maintaining organized and compliant medical records. The role also involves coordinating patient flow, managing basic office and clinical supplies, and supporting communication between providers, patients, and employer representatives. The Medical Assistant will help ensure a clean, safe environment and contribute to efficient, high-quality care for employees seen in the clinic.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Medical Assisting, including supporting clinical procedures and basic patient assessments.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with Medical Terminology to accurately understand and document occupational health encounters.
  • Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office setting, including scheduling, front desk support, and administrative coordination.
  • Candidates should possess strong Patient Care skills, with a focus on professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
  • Candidates should possess skills in managing Medical Records, including accurate documentation, chart organization, and confidentiality compliance.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training is preferred.
  • Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (e.g., CMA, RMA) is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of occupational medicine or workplace injury care is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment and follow established protocols.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
