Job Title: Manufacturing Accountant (Part-Time)
Location: In-Office (with potential for limited remote work)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 20–30 hours per week

Position Overview
We are a small business manufacturing company seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join our team. This part-time role is ideal for a skilled accounting professional with a strong background in manufacturing environments and advanced proficiency in Enterprise QuickBooks. The position is primarily in-office, with the possibility of some remote flexibility based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records within Enterprise QuickBooks (required)
- Oversee cost accounting functions specific to manufacturing operations
- Track inventory, job costing, and production-related expenses
- Process and manage payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support financial decision-making
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of Enterprise QuickBooks (Required)
- Experience managing payroll processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Solid understanding of cost accounting principles
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
