Manufacturing Accountant (Part-Time)

Position Overview

We are a small business manufacturing company seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join our team. This part-time role is ideal for a skilled accounting professional with a strong background in manufacturing environments and advanced proficiency in Enterprise QuickBooks Manufacturing. The position is primarily in-office, with the possibility of some remote flexibility based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records within Enterprise QuickBooks (required)
• Oversee cost accounting functions specific to manufacturing operations
• Track inventory, job costing, and production-related expenses
• Process and manage payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support financial decision-making

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of Enterprise QuickBooks Manufacturing (Required)
• Experience managing payroll processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

Schedule & Benefits

• Monday through Thursday schedule
• 20–30 hours per week
• Benefits and PTO eligibility at 30 hours maintained per week
