About the Role:

The Manager of Operations in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and optimizing the daily operational functions of healthcare facilities or service organizations. This position is responsible for ensuring that all operational processes align with regulatory standards, organizational goals, and patient care excellence. The role requires strategic planning to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery while maintaining compliance with healthcare laws and policies. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with clinical, administrative, and executive teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of operational excellence. Ultimately, this role ensures that the organization delivers high-quality care and services efficiently, supporting both patient satisfaction and organizational sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting, financial management, and performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration (MBA).
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare information technology.
  • Certification such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
  • Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals, clinics, or social assistance organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale operational change or process improvement projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily operations across multiple departments to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality of care.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative leaders to align operational goals with patient care objectives and organizational strategy.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control measures to optimize operational expenditures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop operations staff to build a high-performing and motivated team.

Salary : $95,000 - $145,000
