The Role
We're looking for a social media strategist and content creator who knows how to turn attention into business results.
At Allied Development and VestRight, we help people create legacy through land development. Our founder, Cody Bjugan, is building a media brand that shares that mission through faith, leadership, and value-driven content.
Your job: Own social media growth and content creation.
You'll build the strategy, film the content, and execute the systems that amplify Cody's message and drive measurable results — working hand-in-hand with our paid advertising team.
What You'll Do
1. Lead Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Own the content strategy and growth for Cody Bjugan's personal brand and portfolio companies (Allied Development, VestRight, Allied Investments) across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Plan content calendars that balance storytelling, education, and conversion
- Build and manage engagement systems (comment automation, DM flows, community nurturing) to drive qualified leads and drive measurable revenue
- Track performance metrics and optimize what's working
- Run experiments on hooks, formats, and messaging to improve reach and engagement
- As you prove ROI, you’ll earn the resources to grow your own media team
2. Film High-Quality Video Content
- Attend in-person filming sessions (2–3x/week in Scottsdale, AZ)
- Capture professional B-roll, testimonials, and founder content
- Direct on-camera talent and frame compelling shots
- Ensure consistent visual quality across all content
3. Create & Repurpose Content
- Turn long-form content (podcasts, webinars, events) into viral short-form clips
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and CTAs that drive action
- Basic editing skills a plus, but most editing is outsourced — you'll provide creative direction
- Leverage AI tools to scale content creation and personalization
4. Support Podcast Production
- Help coordinate podcast logistics: scheduling, guest prep, and publishing
- Identify and repurpose best podcast moments for social content
You'll Thrive Here If You…
- Have 3–5 years of social media and content creation experience with proven growth results
- Have experience building or managing a founder or thought leader’s personal brand
- Are skilled with video cameras and can confidently direct and film content
- Understand platform algorithms and what makes content perform
- Have experience with AI tools (ChatGPT or other LLM, social AI platforms, etc.)
- Have experience with automation tools like ManyChat, Ellipsend, or similar platforms to nurture leads and scale engagement
- Can balance creativity with strategic thinking and data-driven decisions
- Are comfortable working with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere (basic), Canva, or similar
- Are based in or near Scottsdale, AZ and available for in-person collaboration
- Value authenticity, faith, and impact — and want to help people build legacy
- Can be held revenue-accountable in a mission drive position

- Months 7–12: Scalable systems in place, proven ROI from organic channels, potential to add team support
