What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foundry Maintenance Tech position at Alliant Castings?
FIRST SHIFT FOUNDRY MAINTENANCE TECH
- Inspects the building, grounds, and assigned equipment.
- Troubleshooting of pneumatics, hydraulic & minor electrical systems.
- Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Installs equipment and appliances.
- Follows local and state building codes.
- Complies with all company safety regulations.
- Keeps a maintenance log and writes shift reports.
- Reports any issues to the maintenance and management team.
- Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
- Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager or clients.
- Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed.
- Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.
- Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
- Foundry experience and heavy manufacturing equipment e a plus!
Must be dependable, accountable and have initiative. Quick learner with demonstrated sound mechanical repair abilities preferred with two years prior industrial maintenance experience including knowledge in predictive and preventative maintenance.
First shift. 7am-4pm Monday - Friday, some Saturdays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
