Role Description
This is a part time or full-time role for a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner based in the Las Vegas Area. The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic wounds, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Additional responsibilities include patient education, care plan management, and adherence to evidence-based wound care protocols to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Wound Care and experience with wound assessment and treatment
- Background in Medicine and Nursing with a focus on patient care and diagnostics
- Advanced practice nursing experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with relevant certifications
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and prescriptive authority in the state of Nevada
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
- Certification in wound care (e.g., WCC, CWOCN, or CWS) is strongly preferred
