Summary
As an Analytical Chemist, you will be integral to our laboratory team, focusing on the analysis and interpretation of chemical data to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. You will utilize core skills in analytical chemistry and chromatography. Your role will involve managing time effectively and maintaining adherence to CGMP practices. With a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in analytical chemistry, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence in chemical analysis and product safety.
- Perform analytical tests on a wide variety of samples accurately and reproducibly.
- Document methods and procedures in compliance with GMP, GLP or other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare test results with clear, logical, and concise written summaries of experimental results
- Maintain a safe, neat and clean laboratory at all times.
- Meet project deadlines and possess excellent time management.
- Support method development.
- Maintain assigned laboratory instrumentation, chemical inventory, and supplies, etc.
- Proficiency in assigned analytical techniques which may include: HPLC, GPC, GC, GCMS, IC, ICP, UV/vis, SEM or XRD.
- Complete Training for cGMP/DEA Compliance – SOPs.
- Participate in teams to define and execute solutions for technical challenges associated with deformulation, product development, quality control, chemical assay requests
- Confer with scientists to conduct analyses of research projects, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.
- Perform monthly safety audits.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or physical chemistry.
- 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience
- Ability to work under supervision of a senior chemist.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Working knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and ISO 17025 is desirable.
- Meet project deadlines and possess excellent time management.
- Good project management, good record keeping, and attention to details.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures, government regulations, and legal documents.
- Ability to effectively document and present information as well as respond to questions from management and clients.
- Ability to logically apply advanced mathematical concepts and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
