UNARMED/ARMED SECURTY OFFICER

Job Summary
Join our dynamic security team as an Armed/Unarmed Security Officer, where your vigilance and expertise will safeguard our facilities, personnel, and assets. Duties

TIMES- MONDAY-SUNDAY

6am-6pm

6pm-6am

• Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring CPR or first aid intervention.
• Manage conflicts calmly and effectively, de-escalating situations to prevent escalation and ensure safety for all parties involved.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring legal intervention.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, packages, and personnel to prevent theft or loss prevention breaches.
• Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs accurately to document all relevant activities and occurrences during your shift.

Skills

• Proven experience in security operations with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques and CCTV monitoring.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management that demonstrate readiness to handle emergencies professionally.
• Background in law enforcement, military service, or related fields that enhance your ability to respond decisively under pressure.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and procedures to protect assets effectively.
• Familiarity with security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control devices.
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members, law enforcement, and the public.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
