What You’ll Do:
As a Marina Boatyard Associate, you’ll be at the core of our operations, performing a wide range of tasks to ensure smooth yard and marina functions. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with hauling, launching, blocking, and storing boats safely and efficiently.
- Operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, travel lifts, payloaders, and roll-offs.
- Performing boatyard maintenance tasks, including cleaning, washing, buffing, and scraping.
- Collaborating with team members and boat owners to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assisting with mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment if experienced.
What You Bring to the Team:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in operating heavy equipment such as travel lifts and forklifts (preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with boat or equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Facility maintenance or landscaping experience is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks like lifting, carrying, and working outdoors in various conditions.
