What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brake Press Programmer position at Alliance Machine & Fabrication?
We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Programmer to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for programming and setting up CNC press brakes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of sheet metal forming, bend deductions, and blueprint reading. You’ll work closely with our production team to ensure parts are formed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Program and set up brake press machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings and flat patterns
- Determine proper bend sequences and tooling
- Troubleshoot and resolve forming issues
- Ensure quality and accuracy throughout the forming process
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with brake press programming
- Experience with Delem controls preferred
- Strong understanding of bend allowances and tooling selection
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time
