Idealcandidates will have at least two years of experience with troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission/rear end, basic chassis/brakes, as well as fabrication skills (MIG and Arc welding/cutting).

Job Responsibilities:
Provide prompt response to equipment service requests to troubleshoot andrepairvehicles & belt loaders (unleaded, diesel, and propane engines), lavatory service trucks, air conditioner carts, ground power units and more
Performand track preventative maintenance for each piece ofequipment
Workwith station management to help control budget and order parts andsupplies
Mustpossessthe qualifications of the Ground Support Equipment Mechanic andhave the ability todirect the workforce and provide practical training to the Ground Equipment Mechanic(s) assigned to him or her.

Fully understand AGI Health & Safety and Security policies.
Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.
Qualifications:
Beat least 18 years of age andpossessahighschool diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent
ASE Certification preferred
Possessa valid driver's license with a clean drivingrecord
Beable to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, which includes an extensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence backgroundcheck
As aGSEMechanic you must be abletoliftup to70 pounds (32 kg) in confined spaces on a regular basis
Climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis and for extendedperiods
Workoutside in all types of weather, around jet and machinerynoises.
If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
