Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an entry-level Credit Analyst located in Portsmouth, NH. The Credit Analyst will assist in on oarding new applications, assess the creditworthiness of potential clients by analyzing and validating both business and guarantor applicant information, credit reports, and other financial data. Responsibilities include fraud prevention, evaluating risk, preparing credit summaries, making recommendations for credit approvals, and communicating findings. Collaborating with internal teams and maintaining relationships with clients will also be key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
Experience
- in equipment and/or working capital credit underwriting preferred (will train)
- Proficient in Analytical Skills and risk assessment
- Solid understanding of Finance principles and practices
- Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong work ethic
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency with financial analysis tools and MS Office suite
