Summary/objective
The MIS Director is responsible for overseeing the management information systems (MIS) department, ensuring the effective operation and support of all MIS systems within AFB. This role demands technical depth in MIS and IT management, strategic vision to develop and implement forward-thinking MIS strategies, and a passion for Franchise. Member success. The MIS Director will ensure that all Franchise Members receive timely and efficient technical support, and that new systems and workflows are seamlessly integrated.
Essential functions
- Lead and manage the MIS department, including MIS Support Specialists, and Senior Business Systems Specialist.
- Develop and implement MIS strategies that align with the AFB’s business goals and objectives.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of MIS applications and systems.
- Ensure that all Franchise Members receive prompt and effective technical support.
- Coordinate the setup and configuration of MIS systems for new Franchise Members.
- Conduct regular assessments of the company’s MIS needs and recommend improvements.
- Develop and enforce MIS policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure the security and integrity of data and MIS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that improve business processes and workflows.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in MIS.
- Oversee the deployment and integration of new software and hardware solutions.
- Manage relationships with external MIS vendors and service providers.
