We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate physician-educator to serve as the Internal Medicine Residency Program Director. In this role, you will lead the Internal Medicine Residency Program, ensuring excellence in education, clinical training, and compliance with ACGME standards.
General Requirements
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM).
- Minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in graduate medical education.
- Demonstrated scholarly activity aligned with the program’s mission.
- Active Florida Medical License.
- Familiarity with GME online and reporting systems including NRMP or SF Match, ERAS, AMA, Freida, GMETrack, ABOS, etc.
- Prior experience as a Program Director, Associate Program Director, or core faculty.
- Experience in curriculum development, resident evaluation, and faculty development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Partnership with the Burrell College of Academic Medicine
- Full-time employed position with active clinical practice
- Protected administration time, aligned with minimum ACGME requirements
