We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a private office.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a calm environment.
- Apply proper aseptic techniques to prevent infection during imaging procedures.
- Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, adjusting settings to optimize image quality based on anatomy knowledge and physiology understanding.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings accurately.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, images, and patient records in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, medical terminology accuracy, and confidentiality regulations at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging principles to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Proficiency in sonography techniques specific to cardiology, and general radiology.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures to patients and collaborate effectively with medical teams.
- Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently during all procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
- Deep understanding of medical terminology relevant to ultrasound diagnostics and patient care.
